As things are still a little off I am making today's post about more household tips and neat things to save money around the house!
AND to give notice that I will be away with Lisa to visit Nana (my mother) and Meemaw (grandmother) for a week and visiting a good friend so from June 30th to July 8th there will be little to no posts, OR if there is a post, its something prepared in advance and I came long enough to make sure said post makes it to the blog!

1. A bottle of olive oil will help get paint out of your clothes! Pour a little olive oil on the stain and scrub it with some paper towels and its gone!
2. To help bananas to last longer and not brown so quickly If you have a bunch wrap the top stem with plastic wrap or a plastic bag so they will last significantly longer.
3. Invading ants as things start warming up, or heating up? Sprinkle/rub some cornmeal around the areas or crevices where the ants are getting in. The ants cannot digest it so they will eat it and it will stop them. MUCH cheaper than pesticides that can be harmful to your pets and you. Just like pesticides you will have to clean up the dead ants in a few days however still less harmful than the chemicals.
4. Need a speaker to listen to some tunes from your phone? All you need is an empty toilet paper roll. As shown on the video cut a slit in it large enough and wide enough for your phone, put some tacks in it to hold the phone in place and there you have your own speaker. Very similar to the new speaker egg device being sold in stores.
5. Stinky house, no air freshener? Pin a few dryer sheets to your fan and turn the fan on, your house will smell better in a few minutes! I ought to start buying more dryer sheets for this one!
6. Clogged drain, here's how to unclog without using draino or similar products. DO NOTE THIS SHOULD NOT BE USED ON STONE OR OLD PIPES. Half a cup of baking soda down the clogged drain, then half a cup of vinegar, also down the clogged drain. Let it sizzle together for a few minutes then rinse it out with HOT water and unclogged! (This is bad for stone pipes as it can eat away at them over time if done often. I say this because we have stone/old pipes and have to use a snake to unclog the pipes. otherwise this would be awesome!)
7. Lastly how to make cash online as seen in the video. I am currently with opinion post, HOWEVER it WILL take time to bring in the funds and you may or may not qualify for some of their surveys.
It takes checking daily and may take a while to get the funds rolling in. I signed up in the beginning of the month and I have about maybe a dollar or two ready to change over to paypal.
