SHOW CASE SATURDAY

Today is Artist Showcase day! Its another pair of artists however they are literally a pair as they are married yet work in two different styles. Its Johnny and Jacqueline Segura!

Here are all their links to the best of my knowledge. Take a lesson future artists, if you want to get business or commissions PUT YOURSELF OUT THERE. Yes it can feel like selling out yet the more places you have the more likely you are to be seen. And you have to sell yourself, not literally but put yourself out there. Push to be heard. I should take a lesson from Mister Segura and follow suite.

They both do paintings, Johnny does more art prints, drawings and requests while Jacqueline does more abstract art...is that the right term?

 Now for Miss Segura. I will be honest, I may not understand her art, but I understand the thought and creation process behind it. It may seem random, however it is FAR FROM IT.

 I got to meet them both at Cyphacon 2013 and chat for a moment as their popularity is growing! I was so happy when Jacqueline did an art trade with me, and Johnny sold my husband one of his prints for a vendor discount. IE because we were fellow vendors and it was the last day he knocked it down in price. I admit being star struck some. They are awesome, I should have asked for tips hehe.

These are the badges I got from her. I bought the Master Ball one and she gave me the Trigun and Pedo Bear for free/art trade. I gave her and her booth Buddy Bj Leday Pony Bottle caps! Keep In mind I was lucky and courteous. So, Thank you Johnny and Jacqueline for many things. For doing what you do, for continuing on through the years and for being the awesome people that you are! And also for putting yourselves out there as I know just about every artist gets criticism in some form or other. Here is one fan attempting to be unbiased - and failing- and wanting to spread the word!
