Game News and Good Food

Greetings all!, today's Post will be a bit skewed yet informative! Today we have recipes and POKèMON!

If you haven't noticed the slowing of blog posts some -heh - its because the new Pokèmon X & Y came out.

This one NOW has wandering legendarys. (is it legendary, mythical, rare whatever the term is now?) I suppose since you can catch them in the wild now they are no longer legendary. Just a random thought....onwards!

Such as Zoroark, Moltres, Zapdos and Articuno, and a few others! (info provided by serebii.net )
The legendary bird that you come across depends on the starter you picked and you will encounter it at least 12 times where it will flee each time until it comes to the final stationary point. I do apologize for not being more precise as this info is on the news page of the site serebii.net. I did have to scroll down some and its under the spoilers tab.
You can now also catch Eevees! In the wild, OR catch one, and a ditto, then breed them and have ALL the evolutions! Sylveon is fairly easy to get, have your Eevee know or learn a fairy type move, and give it love and attention in pokèmon-amie. At least two hearts or more. Then it evolves around level 13-14 I believe! The rest are by stones or training during the day or night.
If its not known already, there are some game exclusive (either X or Y) mega evolutions, such as Charizard mega-evolution types, and Mega Mewtwo.) And the standard pokèmon that are game exclusive and require trades.

Speaking of trades you can now trade with other people across the world with GTS (Global Trading System) My husband managed to get a few Eevees with Pokèrus! YES the pokè-virus OMG. I declined knowing I was a fool however I did not want the virus, its a personal choice and I accept my loss in declining.

The guide book was strangely - or strategically -  not released with the game. It should be available the 18th or later in some stores so most of this information is coming from serebii.net. That is the latest news I know thanks to my awesome husband and Pokèmaster Gym Leader Gir. I kid you not he has made it his goal along with being a father to keep up with the pokèdex and know as much as he can about pokèmon. (of course the creators know it all so he is not the official pokèmaster, but darn close) If he cannot answer immediately he has the books and references on hand. A TRUE pokè-fan! Yes, one can be a fan of multiple things.

Now on to the recipes!

This recipe is a quick snack idea for s'mores pops treat! You can use graham crackers or any crumbled candy to stick to the marshmallows. Or jumbo size marshmallows can be used as well. OR if you want the gooey effect: AFTER placing the marshmallow on the stick, take a match, (LET AN ADULT DO THIS TASK!)  light it and lightly toast the outside of the marshmallow for the crispy skin and slightly gooey inside. Let it cool down some before dunking, or hold it over the bowl and spoon the chocolate on then dip!

This particular recipe also gives links to blueberry biscuits as well as a strawberry version of this bread! I went with the apple version due to my daughter having a strawberry allergy. Plus its such an easy recipe!

And for a drink to go with these awesome snacks:

NON-ALCOHOLIC, just add club soda! It does take a bit of making at least 3 days in advance though, however check the recipe to make sure as the minimum is 3-4 hours. It varies.

At the least you can enjoy the s'mores pops and Apple sparklers while playing pokèmon game!
Thank you for reading and see you next post!
